First, Vao der Poel has a couple of nice weeks ahead of him in France. He starts the fifth stage as overall leader in the time trial against Caean. There, he defends a small lead over Pogacar (0 seconds), Viogegaard (8 seconds) and time trial champion Evepoel (58 seconds). This could be the last time that Vao der Poel wears the iconic yellow jersey.
