He might be the very best heavyweight on the planet but Oleksandr Usyk has admitted he is still looking to improve.

Usyk is not only the most decorated fighter in his division, but for many people, the Ukrainian tops current pound-for-pound lists and even deserves to be discussed amongst the best big men to ever do it.
He’s one of the smaller men in the division having come up from cruiserweight where he collected all four belts before doing the same thing at the higher weight when he beat Tyson Fury on May 18 to add the Ring Magazine, WBC and lineal titles to the WBA, WBO and IBF belts already in his possession.
The 12-round contest out in Saudi Arabia was a tight one with both men having periods of success. It was Usyk who managed to make the biggest impression on his opponent however by landing a huge right hand in round nine that eventually led to ‘The Gypsy King’ being given a count.
Speaking to The 3 Knockdown rule and reflecting on the historic contest, he was asked if he had watched the fight back.
“Yeh, two times. I have like a book, in my mind, what I thought would happen in the fight, but mistakes.
I watch my mistakes but next fight I will delete them.”
Fury and Usyk are set to renew their rivalries on December 21 in a rematch. As much as the Ukrainian has said he will tidy up his mistakes, Fury has also recently vowed he will come back stronger than ever from his first defeat.
