Tyson Fury was beaten by Oleksandr Usyk for a second time in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Brit lost by split decision back in May in a bid to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis. He immediately activated his rematch clause and fought the return fight this weekend.
It was another close affair with both men busy throughout. Usyk’s famous gas tank came good in the later rounds and he was the more hurtful puncher for the majority of them, though Fury competed until the very final bell.
It was a unanimous decision this time around for the Ukrainian, who retained the WBC, WBO and WBA belts with three scores of 116-112. Fury left the ring without an interview, though was captured backstage by Sky Sports speaking to former trainer Ben Davison.
In the clip, Fury says he believes he won the fight by at least three rounds.

The Brit’s promoter Frank Warren spoke in the ring post-fight and said he was baffled that the judges could only give his man four rounds. More from the sport will give their takes in the coming days as Fury deals with the second defeat of his career and where he may go next.
As for the unified champion, he has accepted an ad-hoc offer from IBF titlist Daniel Dubois. The pair first met in October of 2023 with Usyk scoring the stoppage in the ninth round, though not after considerable controversy. He was down in the fifth but the shot was ruled low, something Dubois’ team has disagreed with ever since.
