Tyson Fury Receives Chilling Warning of Worse Defeat in Usyk Rematch

Tyson Fury has been warned that he will suffer an even “worse” defeat in his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk. The Gypsy King, who lost to the undefeated Ukrainian last month in a split decision, is set to face Usyk again on December 21 in Saudi Arabia.

Fury’s first bout with Usyk was a historic event, marking his attempt to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion in nearly 25 years. However, the slick southpaw outperformed him, and Fury was fortunate not to be stopped in the ninth round of their initial encounter.

Usyk’s countryman and fellow boxer, Oleksandr Gvozdyk, believes the rematch will be even more brutal for Fury. “I think it will be even worse for Fury in the rematch,” Gvozdyk told Boxing News. “I know Usyk – once he catches you, he won’t let you go. Usyk is going to be even more confident in the next fight.”

Gvozdyk highlighted Usyk’s psychological advantage over Fury, noting that the Ukrainian’s confidence and performance in the first fight were superior. “Fury likes to play mind games; in this case, it was the complete opposite. I think Usyk got in his head. I didn’t see Fury as confident as before, when he was a killer and super-confident,” he added.

The December 21 rematch is highly anticipated, with fans eager to see if Fury can reclaim his status or if Usyk will solidify his dominance in the heavyweight division.
