Triple H took to social media and reacted to the prospect of history being made as he made a blockbuster announcement. The CCO had something to say.
It was announced earlier that the women’s division would be competing in a tournament to crown the first-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
Triple H took to social media before WWE RAW and sent a message saying that it was finally time to start the road to crowning the first-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion. With 12 stars competing, he said, each of them had a chance to make history by the end of the tournament. He then asked the fans if they were ready and went on to reveal the brackets.
“Tonight, the road to crowning the inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Champion begins. 12 Superstars each with a chance to make history. Are you ready?”
So far, the brackets for the tournament are as follows, with four quarterfinal matches announced:
- Dakota Kai vs Shayna Baszler vs Katana Chance
- Zoey Stark vs Raquel Rodriguez vs Kayden Carter
- Lyra Valkyria vs Ivy Nile vs Zelina Vega
- Alba Fyre vs Kairi Sane vs Natalya
With so many potential first-time champions, things are looking good for the inaugural champion to make history. Fans will have to wait and see who wins.
