Travis Kelce responds to Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson’s playful comments about potentially setting him up with Taylor Swift. During their appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where they discussed the idea of connecting the NFL star with the singer-songwriter, Fallon asked Andrews and Thompson if they had predicted Kelce and Swift’s potential romance.

“Yes, Jimmy, that was us,” Thompson replied.

Fallon jokingly thanked them for their matchmaking efforts, quipping, “As a country, we’re thanking our servicemen and women, but we really have to thank you for what you’ve done for all of us. You brought us Taylor and Travis, oh my God.”

“Consider it our gift to America,” Thompson playfully added.

Andrews then explained that as sports journalists who know Kelce personally, they had discussed his interest in meeting Swift after attending one of her shows. Encouraged by Kelce’s admiration for Swift, they began jokingly rooting for the two to connect.

“He had mentioned on his podcast that he went to the show, wanted to meet her afterwards, didn’t get the chance to. So we just started talking about it on our podcast saying, ‘Taylor, do this for America. Date him.’ I mean, the guy, he’s not ugly by any means,” Andrews told Fallon.
