“I Would Have Handled That”: Tom Brady Slams Daniel Jones After Getting Release From New York Giants

NFL legend and former quarterback Tom Brady had something to say about the career move that Daniel Jones made, as the former college star asked to be released from the New York Giants, and eventually moved to the Minnesota Vikings.

On his commentary during the Thanksgiving game between the Giants and the Dallas Cowboys, Brady touched on the topic of Daniel Jones asking for a release from his team that has been his home since he began his NFL career.

“I don’t know how the whole situation went down, but to think you would ask for a release from a team that committed a lot to you is different (from how) I would have handled that,” Brady said. “I always felt (that) I wanted to get the trust and respect of my teammates regardless of the situation, knowing that I was trying to do the best I could for the team, because that was the most important thing.”

“I think we’re all at points in our careers and face different challenges,” he continued. “I faced them in college, and some things didn’t go the way I wanted, but the people that mattered most to me were the guys in the locker room. I showed up every day. I didn’t care if they asked me to be scout team safety (or) quarterback. I was going to do whatever I could to help the team win.”

Tom Brady Gets His First Taste of Turducken

As the old saying goes, there is always a first time for everything. As a successful quarterback, Tom Brady has always been known to have a strict workout regimen and follow a strict diet. With that said, it is no shock to anyone if they discover that he hasn’t had a chance to get his taste buds on some foods, even popular holiday dishes.

For Tom Brady, he can cross turducken off his list of food he hasn’’t tried yet, as he recently got his first taste of the popular Thanksgiving dish live on TV.

“That’s good,” Brady told play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt, nodding while hewing on the dish. “That’s really good.”

Turducken is a portmanteau of the words “turkey,” “duck,” and “chicken”. The dish is a deboned turkey that’s stuffed with a deboned duck and then stuffed with a debonded chicken, hence the combination of the names. The popularity of the dish is also tied to NFL, as John Madden was the one who promoted it during NFL Thanksgiving Day game broadcasts.

Tom Brady has played for the NFL for 23 seasons and is now working as a lead analyst for Fox Sport.
