This bully called Canelo Alvarez a MAMA’S BABY… He regretted this…!

In boxing, as in life, there are mistakes that come at a high price. And one of them was making fun of Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez.

The young redhead from Guadalajara, barely 19 years old, faced a confident, experienced, and loud-mouthed opponent. But that night, respect prevailed with fists, and silence was the only sound that remained after the final bell.

It all began in 2005, when a teenage Canelo made his professional debut at just 15 years old. Although Mexican law didn’t allow it, his talent was so evident that the Boxing Commission turned a blind eye. Four years later, he had already racked up an unbeaten streak in 30 fights and was starting to make waves outside of Mexico.

It was then that the fight against Lanardo Tyner arrived  , a respected ring veteran with a past as a sparring partner for Floyd Mayweather. He wasn’t just any opponent: he’d never been knocked out, possessed cunning defense, and a style that had frustrated much bigger boxers. Tyner wasn’t one to back down from anyone… least of all a young Mexican who had yet to prove himself in American territory.

From the opening rounds, Canelo showed more than just strength. His precision was surgical, his calm astonishing, his reading of the fight impeccable. Tyner, seeking to throw him off, resorted to gestures, mocking smiles, and provocations. But the Guadalajara native didn’t take the bait. Calmly, he continued to implement his plan: body to head, firm jab, precise combinations.

Each round was a lesson. Although Tyner fought back gallantly, Canelo was in control. His punches landed with intelligence and power, while the American’s responses grew increasingly desperate. The veteran’s experience was insufficient against the mettle of a young man who seemed to possess the soul of a champion from birth.

The decision was unanimous. Canelo not only won the fight, he earned respect. Tyner, who started out confident, ended up swallowing his words and acknowledging that he had faced a phenomenon. That night marked a turning point in the Mexican’s career. He was no longer just a local prospect. He was a real threat to the big names in international boxing.

Shortly after this fight, Canelo signed with  Golden Boy Promotions  and HBO. The young man who came from selling ice cream from trucks was now making his way into the world boxing elite. And he did it not just with his fists, but with his brains, with class… and with the pride of representing millions.

Tyner learned that, in boxing, mocking a warrior like Canelo can be costly. And the world understood that a star had been born who would not only hit hard, but would leave his mark with every step.
