Beloved Bachelor couple Anna Heinrich and Tim Robards have surprised fans by announcing a major change in their lifestyle — revealing they are officially leaving their Sydney home behind to embrace an unconventional new living arrangement that has everyone talking.

After years of living in the hustle and bustle of Australia’s biggest city, the couple, who first met on Season 1 of The Bachelor Australia in 2013 and have been inseparable ever since, made the big reveal in a heartfelt post shared to social media over the weekend.
“Time for a fresh chapter,” Tim wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of him, Anna, and their daughter Elle smiling in front of a packed moving truck. “We’ve loved our life in Sydney, but we’ve been craving space, nature, and a bit more adventure. So… we’re hitting the road!”
A Mobile Mansion?
That’s right — rather than moving to another suburb or even another city, Anna and Tim have opted for an increasingly popular, though still eyebrow-raising, lifestyle choice: life on the road in a luxury motorhome.
And not just any camper van — sources say the Robards invested in a high-end custom motorhome described by fans as “a hotel suite on wheels.” Complete with a king-size bed, designer kitchen, modern bathroom, and even a mobile gym area, their new mobile home is a far cry from roughing it in the outback.
Speaking in a joint interview with The Daily Telegraph, Anna explained the decision:
“We’re calling it our ‘roaming reset.’ Tim’s always been super active and adventurous, and I’ve always wanted to show Elle more of Australia — the real Australia. So, we thought, why not create a home that moves with us?”
Why They Left Sydney
The couple cited the rising cost of living, heavy traffic, and a desire to disconnect from the pressures of city life as key reasons for the move.
“Sydney will always hold a special place in our hearts,” said Tim. “But lately we felt like we were living to keep up — not really living. We wanted a slower pace, more quality time, and fewer distractions.”
Anna added that having a young daughter made the decision even more appealing. “We want Elle to grow up seeing different parts of the country, meeting new people, learning flexibility and independence. It’s something money can’t buy.”
From Reality TV to Real Adventure
Fans first fell in love with Anna and Tim during the first-ever season of The Bachelor Australia, with their love story standing the test of time. They married in 2018 and welcomed their daughter in 2020.
Since then, both have built impressive careers: Tim as a chiropractor and fitness coach, and Anna as a lawyer and influencer. But with increasing work-from-anywhere opportunities, the couple realized they no longer needed to stay anchored in one place.
“We’ll still be working,” Tim clarified. “We’ve both set up mobile businesses. I’ll be doing remote fitness coaching, and Anna’s managing legal consulting online. We’re not quitting life — we’re just choosing a different version of it.”
Fans React
Reaction to the news has been overwhelmingly positive, with thousands of fans flooding the comments section with support and envy.
“You guys are living the dream!” one follower wrote.
“My husband and I have been talking about doing this — you’ve just inspired us to go for it,” said another.
Still, a few questioned whether life on the road with a toddler would be as idyllic as it sounds.
“Wait till the first diaper blowout while parked in the bush!” one person joked.
But Anna and Tim seem ready for it all. “Of course, there’ll be challenges,” Anna admitted. “But that’s the point. We’re ready to stretch ourselves, laugh more, and collect memories — not just stuff.”
What’s Next?
The Robards have already mapped out their first few months on the road, with plans to travel up the east coast of Australia, hitting Byron Bay, the Sunshine Coast, and eventually reaching the Daintree Rainforest. From there, they may cross inland or head toward Western Australia.
“There’s no hard timeline,” said Tim. “We’re just seeing where life — and the road — takes us.”
As for fans wondering if the couple will share their journey, the answer is yes. Anna and Tim have promised regular updates via Instagram, YouTube, and even a potential travel podcast in the works.
“This is more than a move,” said Anna. “It’s a lifestyle experiment. And we’re excited to bring everyone along for the ride.”
From red-carpet events to red dirt roads, Anna and Tim Robards are proving that love, adventure, and family can take you just about anywhere — even in a motorhome.
