Celebrating the wedding day, the 61 -year -old actor posted an intimate photo with his husband Tim Busfield at his romantic page in Catskill Mountain, New York on Instagram. Melissa Gilbert also revealed to fans about the happy marriage with the 67 -year -old actor and director.

Melissa wrote: “12 years of true love, laughter, sympathy, commitment, passion. 12 years of cooking, caring for children, raising chickens and dogs together. 12 years with home decoration, watching movies, watching drama. 12 years of writing, traveling and enjoying delicious meals.”

She also listed the simplicities of husband and wife often doing together such as playing baseball, practicing yoga, learning dance … Melissa contemplated: “12 years of marriage. 12 years perfect with the person I love the most”.
