Taylor Swift fans have a new theory as to why Travis Kelce was not included in the Eras Tour book
Upon Swift releasing an ‘Eras Tour Book’ to commemorate her record-breaking world tour, several noted that her boyfriend, Kelce was not included in any of it.
That’s despite the Super Bowl champions having featured as a surprise guest during Swift’s performance of “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” at Wembley in June.
He shocked fans at the time by stepping on stage wearing a top hat and three-piece, picking up the singer and carrying her to a red couch, before fanning her as part of a spontaneous segment.
Fans took to social media on Friday regarding the Kansas City Chiefs tight end not making an appearance in the pop superstar’s new book.
“I’m surprised Travis’ performance on stage is not in the book unless it happened too late,” one person said on X.
Others theorised via X why Kelce was not featured in “The Eras Tour Book.”
One fan noted that the book is about Swift’s tour and “what it means to her” rather than about “her f***ing boyfriend.”
Another added: “The book was finished before [the performance] and no surprise guests were featured.”
Swift did not feature any other the subtle nods she gave her boyfriend during her Eras Tour either, such as the archer pose she does during “So High School,” a song off “The Tortured Poets Department” album that is dedicated to Kelce.
After 149 concerts over almost two years, Swift’s Eras Tour ends next weekend at a show in Vancouver.
In the book, Swift explained how she added songs from “The Tortured Poets Department” midway through the Eras Tour, calling it an “exciting challenge to try to improve upon a show [she] already loved.”
She added: “Thankfully, I’m surrounded by my incredible crew, band, singers and dancers who all matched my dedication to the massive scale and challenges of this show.”
