Luigi Mangione and Sean “Diddy” Combs have more than one thing in common following their arrests.
While Diddy has been behind bars for months, Mangione’s case is relatively fresh.
The former Ivy League student was extradited to New York on Thursday following his arrest in Pennsylvania, where a judge read him federal charges.
He has since been housed at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, the same facility where Diddy is being held while he awaits trial. According to a report from BBC, his lawyers indicated they were not ready to present an application for bail when they appeared in court on Thursday.
That’s Not All Luigi Mangione Has In Common With Diddy at the Moment
Luigi Mangione, accused of k-lling Brian Thompson in Manhattan earlier this month, is sharing something else with Diddy: a legal team.
BBC noted as much in their report as well.
“During the New York hearing on Thursday, Mr Mangione sat between his two lawyers – Karen Friedman Agnifilo, and her husband, Mark Agnifilo, who also is representing rapper Sean “Diddy Combs” in his sex trafficking case.”
The 26-year-old is facing two counts of stalking, a firearms charge, and murder through use of a firearm, which could land him the death penalty if he’s found guilty.
