ROME, 19 May 2025 – Carlos Alcaraz consecrated himself champion of the International of Italy 2025, beating the Italian number 1 Jannik Sinner in a compelling final at the Foro Italico. The score of 7-6 (5), 6-1 sanctioned the victory of the Spaniard, who won his first title in Rome, the seventh Masters 1000 of his career. But to make news, in addition to the result, was the gesture of Alcaraz post-match, who moved Sinner to tears.
The final, played in front of a warm audience, saw a first fought first set, decided on the tie-break after Sinner had wasted two sets sets.
