“Seven times the ‘King of the Gypsies’ Tyson Fury was knocked down, and there are six tasks needed to seek revenge against Usyk.”

Fury had never lost until facing Usyk, but in reality, he had been knocked down multiple times. Before facing Oleksandr Usyk on May 18 in Saudi Arabia, Tyson Fury had an unbeaten record of 35 matches (34 wins, 1 loss). However, the Ukrainian “Cat” became the first to taste defeat against the British “Gypsy King” with a points victory after 12 rounds. Fury was knocked out by Usyk in the 9th round.

Fury was almost knocked down in the 9th round, but he got up and continued fighting until the last seconds. This is not the first time in his career that an opponent has knocked out the British boxer, because before that Fury was knocked down seven times and almost lost the round. The first time Fury was defeated in the ring was when he faced Neven Pajkic in 2011. Although he was knocked down in round 2, Fury still recovered and won by knockout in round 3.
Confronting Steve Cunningham in 2013 at Madison Square Garden in the US, Fury was knocked down in the 2nd round. However, he quickly regained his composure and defeated his opponent in the 7th round.
Fury was knocked down four times in three fights with Deontay Wilder (2018, 2020, 2021), but he ultimately won all three fights.
Before being defeated by Usyk in round 9 recently, Francis Ngannou was the most recent opponent (2023) that stunned the “Gypsy King”, but Fury still managed to stand up and win points against his Cameroonian opponent.
