WWE Superstar Seth Rollins is known for his passion and dedication to the wrestling industry. The Visionary has spent more than 20 years in the industry and has been working hard to establish his dominance and entertain fans. However, Rollins has now stated that wrestling is not the most important thing in his life.
Seth has spent the majority of 2024 on the shelf. Having been injured for quite some time, The Visionary took some time off to get healthy and is now back to being the workhorse that the WWE Universe loves.
In a recent episode of The Pivot Podcast, Rollins addressed his goals when he entered the Stamford-based company and stated that he was fortunate enough to get them all done in quite a short period of time.
“It took like all the edge off of wrestling for me. Well, I spent my whole life wanting one thing—single-minded. All I wanted was to be successful in this industry, to help the industry grow, to, you know, make money, be famous, travel— all those types of things, and that’s all I ever wanted. And then I got all that. I kind of reached all my goals… I didn’t have that anymore,” Seth Rollins said. [25:27 onwards]

The Visionary further stated that the birth of his daughter, Roux, changed his life and that she was more important to him now. The former World Heavyweight Champion added that all he wanted to do was be a good father.
“Then, when I had my daughter, I had like this new purpose, right? Like, oh, this person depends on me for their, their, their life, for, to, to exist…You know, this wrestling stuff, I’m so thankful that I’ve been able to do it for so long, stayed healthy, you know, got a paycheck. I’m a lucky, lucky, lucky, fortunate dude…to try to, you know, be a good dad and be there for her, and the wrestling is just—I got that,” Seth Rollins said. [26:39 onwards]
WWE Superstar Seth Rollins has his plans ready post-retirement
While Seth Rollins is clearly one of the most athletic stars in the industry and has a lot left in himself to deliver to the fullest, he has already made plans for his retirement. The Visionary stated that he wanted to do a backstage role in WWE once he was done being an in-ring competitor.
Having Rollins in a backstage role would undoubtedly be a massive advantage for the Stamford-based company. Only time will tell how much Seth has left in his tank before he officially retires from professional wrestling.
