Scott Dixon’s wife drops 3-word comment celebrating Sebastian Wheldon’s Italian F4 championship victory

Chip Ganassi Racing driver Scott Dixon’s wife, Emma Davies, recently celebrated a significant milestone in the racing world by sharing a congratulatory message for Sebastian Wheldon, who won the Italian F4 Championship with PREMA Racing. Sebastian Wheldon, aged 16, is notably the son of the late IndyCar champion Dan Wheldon. Emma Davies reshared a post from the F4 Italian Championship’s Instagram page and added a succinct three-word comment: “👊 Attaboy! Go Seb! @sebastianwheldon” to express her support and pride.

Emma Davies herself has a notable background as a former British and Welsh 800-meter running champion and briefly worked as a presenter for Sky Sports. She met Scott Dixon in 2006 through a mutual friend, and their connection quickly grew strong. The couple married in 2008 at Goodwood and have two daughters, Poppy (born 2009) and Tilly (born 2012).

Scott Dixon’s 2025 IndyCar season has been progressing steadily. He started the season by qualifying sixth at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 2 and finished the race in second place despite facing radio issues. At the 50th anniversary Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach on April 13, Dixon qualified 14th and finished eighth. He is preparing for the upcoming Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix at Barber Motorsports Park, where he qualified 26th but aims to improve his race position.

Additionally, Scott Dixon recently participated in the Indianapolis 500 open test, which was part of the preparation for the 109th running of the Indianapolis 500 scheduled for May 25. During the two-day test held from April 23-24, Dixon topped the speed charts on the first day, reaching a lap speed of 225.182 mph. He discussed his experience driving with the new hybrid system on the oval, noting that it added new elements to racing strategy and could influence the race outcome and the shootout at the end.

This gesture by Emma Davies not only highlights the close-knit nature of the racing community but also connects the legacy of Dan Wheldon with the promising future represented by his son, Sebastian. It also underscores the ongoing support and enthusiasm within the Chip Ganassi Racing family, of which Scott Dixon is a key figure.
