“DAt this time of the year, my body was really tired, ”Korda said. The goal is always to ensure the body in the best state before entering the tournament. ”

2024 was considered the peak season in Nelly Kora’s career with 7 LPGA titles, including 1 Major championship. However, in 2025, she had not won any after 18 prizes, and lost the world’s No. 1 position in Jeeno Thitikul (Thailand).

The Hanwha Lifeplus International Crown 2025 tournament brings together 8 top national teams, including: America, Japan, Korea, Australia, Thailand, Sweden, China and the World Team – a collection of the four best golfers from countries that are not yet eligible to participate. This year’s World Team includes Brooke Henderson (Canada), Charley Hull (England), Wei-Ling Hsu (Taiwan) and Lydia Ko (New Zealand). The tournament applies a four-ball format for the first three days. Nelly Korda’s withdrawal is considered a big loss for the US team – the team currently ranked number one in the world and is expected to defend its title at this year’s International Crown.
