Rihanna is making a stylish statement with the launch of the Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty “In Session” campaign, unveiled to promote the latest iteration of the popular Creeper Phatty sneaker.

The singer and businesswoman, who serves as the creative director for the campaign, teamed up with photographer Philippa Price to capture a diverse cast embodying various high school archetypes. The campaign features Chloe Cherry from “Euphoria” as the emo girl and veteran actress Anjelica Huston as the principal, among others.
Each model, including Rihanna herself, showcases bold interpretations of typical school attire, such as oversized dresses, monogrammed suits, and statement ties, emphasizing the sneaker’s versatility and youthful appeal.
Highlighted in the campaign are three new colorways of the Creeper Phatty: triple-black, classic red, and white corduroy. Available in sizes for all ages, these sneakers can be purchased at puma.com, Puma stores, and select global retailers like Foot Locker, JD Sports, and Zalando.
Speaking about the campaign, Rihanna shared, “Your whole school will be wearing the Creeper Phatty’s and this campaign plays with that vision. We chose these colors and materials very purposefully for back-to-school. The black-on-black corduroy reminds me of my very own childhood, a uniform-approved shoe with the twist I always wish I had.”
Rihanna first collaborated with Puma in 2014 as the brand’s global ambassador and creative director for the women’s division. The partnership produced the iconic Creeper sneaker in 2015, which garnered Rihanna the prestigious Shoe of the Year Award at the FNAAs in 2016. After a hiatus, Puma announced Rihanna’s return in 2023 with the reintroduction of the Fenty x Puma line, featuring the updated Creeper Phatty.
The Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty “In Session” campaign celebrates fashion innovation and cultural influence, reflecting Rihanna’s ongoing impact on the sneaker industry and beyond.
