Famed YouTube personality and boxer, Jake Paul, originally scheduled to confront former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson on July 20, encountered a setback when Tyson experienced a “medical scare” during a recent flight, attributed to an ulcer flare-up. Fortunately, Tyson is anticipated to recover fully.
Initially, despite the scare, plans were to proceed with the Tyson-Paul match. However, Tyson’s inability to train adequately prompted a rescheduling to November 15. Despite expectations for Paul to wait, he purportedly opted to engage a new adversary on July 20.
As per various sources, including MMA icon and insider BJ Penn, Paul is slated to square off against former UFC and current Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship contender, Mike Perry. Although no official announcement has been issued, Paul and his Most Valuable Promotions company purportedly plan to disclose details on Wednesday.
