Prince Harry ‘doing Well Financially’ As Lady Victoria Hervey Slaps Down Concerns

Despite ongoing speculation about Prince Harry’s financial situation following his departure from royal duties, Lady Victoria Hervey has firmly dismissed any concerns, stating that the Duke of Sussex is “doing well financially.” In recent comments, the socialite and former friend of the royal family shed light on Prince Harry’s lifestyle and financial independence since stepping back from senior royal duties in 2020.

The move, often referred to as “Megxit,” saw Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, relocate to California, where they have established themselves in the public eye through various ventures, including multi-million-dollar deals with streaming giants Netflix and Spotify. Despite this, rumors have persisted that the couple might be struggling financially, particularly after reports of mounting security and lifestyle expenses.

However, Lady Victoria Hervey has rejected these concerns, emphasizing that the Duke is in a secure financial position. “Prince Harry is doing just fine,” she commented. “People seem to forget that he’s made some very successful deals and he’s not just relying on royal money. He’s built his own path.”

Since leaving behind the traditional trappings of royalty, Harry and Meghan have been busy cultivating a brand that promotes causes they care deeply about. Their Netflix deal alone is reported to be worth around $100 million, while their collaboration with Spotify, as well as Harry’s memoir, Spare, have brought in significant earnings. According to Hervey, these lucrative partnerships have allowed the couple to live comfortably and maintain their high-profile lifestyle in Montecito, California.

Beyond his commercial deals, Harry has also continued his philanthropic work, particularly through his Invictus Games Foundation, which supports wounded veterans, and the couple’s Archewell Foundation. Lady Victoria Hervey pointed out that these efforts demonstrate how Harry has successfully transitioned from royal life to a more entrepreneurial and socially conscious role.

“Harry has always been about making a difference, and now he’s doing it on his own terms,” she added. “The narrative that he’s struggling financially just doesn’t fit.”

Hervey’s remarks come amidst continued public debate over the Sussexes’ finances, especially as they have distanced themselves from financial support from the royal family. In 2020, Prince Harry revealed in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that he had been cut off financially after leaving royal duties, relying initially on funds left to him by his late mother, Princess Diana. However, since then, their independent ventures have allowed the couple to maintain their luxurious lifestyle, including their multi-million-dollar estate in Montecito, where they reside with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

Despite the occasional rumors, Lady Victoria Hervey’s comments reinforce the idea that Prince Harry has found his footing financially in his post-royal life. As the Duke of Sussex continues to carve out a new path for himself and his family, it seems that the speculation over his financial well-being may finally be put to rest.

As Hervey concluded, “Harry and Meghan are thriving in their new life, and they’re far from struggling. The concerns people have are just not based in reality.”
