Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have received an invitation to spend Christmas in the UK, a gesture reportedly extended by Charles Spencer, the Duke’s uncle. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not celebrated Christmas in the UK for several years, largely due to their strained relationship with the Royal Family.
According to sources, Charles Spencer has invited Harry, Meghan, and their children to Althorp House, the ancestral home of Princess Diana. The offer is reportedly open but it remains uncertain whether the Sussexes will accept. There has been no indication of an invitation from the Royal Family for them to join the celebrations at Sandringham, and it is considered unlikely that such an invitation will be extended.
Harry recently stayed at Althorp House during a trip to the UK for his uncle’s funeral, where he also visited his mother’s grave. The estate, located in Northamptonshire, holds significant emotional value for Harry.
The invitation to Althorp is seen as a potential opportunity for the Sussexes to reconnect with family, though their presence at official Royal events remains in question.
