Pecco Bagnaia reflected on his experiences after a third-place finish at the Qatar MotoGP, a result that highlighted his recent challenges and lessons learned. The world champion, expected to put in a strong performance in this race, found himself having to deal with several difficulties, behind teammate Marc Marquez, who took victory for the third time in 2025.

After a disappointing qualifying, where a crash forced him to start from 11th, Bagnaia managed to climb up to second place, thanks to a penalty for Maverick Vinales, and contributed to a strong team performance for Ducati with an impressive one-two. However, the rider acknowledged that his weekend had been marred by a persistent balance issue due to a low fuel tank. “I shouldn’t have had to deal with these issues while fighting for a podium place,” Bagnaia commented. Asked by TNT Sport about what he needs to improve on in the future, Bagnaia was clear: “First of all, I need to avoid mistakes like the one in qualifying. Starting from the fourth row was unacceptable.” He also added that he needs to better understand how to approach the sprint race, stressing that, in those circumstances, he doesn’t have time to make mistakes.

Pecco Bagnaia is determined to turn these experiences into opportunities. “We must be grateful for what happened, but also anxious to improve and not repeat the same mistakes,” he concluded, ready to give his all in the next races. The next challenge awaits us in Spain, and Bagnaia is ready to give his all to stay at the top of the standings.
