Oleksandr Usyk May Have To Be Careful After Daniel Dubois’ Coach “dared” Him And Said Their Rematch Will Be “very Different”

**Dubois Dismantles Anthony Joshua at Wembley, Eyes Next Move Toward Usyk or Fury**

In a stunning display of power and dominance, Daniel Dubois dismantled Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium in front of a record-breaking crowd of 98,000 fans. Dubois dropped Joshua four times en route to an incredible fifth-round stoppage victory, securing his place as one of the top contenders in the heavyweight division. The British heavyweight now has a wealth of options ahead, including a potential shot at the winner of the highly anticipated Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury rematch, which is scheduled for December 21.

If Dubois faces Usyk again, it wouldn’t be their first encounter. In their previous fight, Dubois controversially dropped Usyk with a shot deemed to be a low blow by the referee. The decision allowed Usyk additional recovery time, and he went on to stop Dubois later in the fight. Charles, a key member of Dubois’ camp, spoke about the controversy during an appearance on talkSPORT’s *Jim White and Simon Jordan*, expressing confidence in Dubois’ ability to beat Usyk.

“Why not? He already did it to Usyk,” Charles said, referring to Dubois’ knockdown of Usyk. “In football, you have two halves, but in boxing, it’s all one thing. We won the first half of the fight, and Usyk won the second half. Daniel already proved he can drop him. It was a legitimate punch, but they chose to deny us. I dare them to bring Usyk to Daniel again. I dare them.”

The punch in question was ruled a low blow, which many still debate. Usyk was given extra time to recover, and when the fight resumed, he regained momentum and ultimately stopped Dubois, who seemed to run out of steam. Despite the loss, Dubois remains confident in his ability to beat Usyk in a rematch.

As Dubois waits to learn his next opponent, a shot at the undisputed heavyweight title in 2025 is certainly within reach. However, there is also speculation that Joshua could pursue an immediate rematch with Dubois, hoping for redemption after the brutal defeat.

Meanwhile, Dubois remains focused on whichever opponent offers the biggest financial incentive. Speaking to talkSPORT, Dubois expressed his eagerness to face either Joshua or Usyk again: “I would love a rematch [with Usyk], but either one, really, whoever pays me more money. If a rematch with Joshua happens next, then yeah, I want to go for it. I want to do even better next time.”

Dubois also reflected on areas for improvement and his desire to prove doubters wrong: “I know where I need to improve, so as a champion and a fighter, I want to prove people wrong every time. I think I can do a lot better than that. It was a great showing, but next time, I believe I’ll be more clinical, more sharp—everything.”

With his dominant performance over Joshua and his readiness to face top contenders, Dubois has solidified his status as a rising star in the heavyweight division. All eyes will be on him as he waits to see if his next bout will be a rematch with Usyk or Joshua, or perhaps a showdown with Tyson Fury for the undisputed championship.
