Netflix is reportedly “fed up” with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following their recent four-day tour of Colombia, where they addressed issues of online harms affecting children and shared their experiences as parents.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are currently in a multi-million dollar deal with Netflix, were expected to create a series on Meghan’s cooking and a behind-the-scenes look at the world of polo with Harry. However, royal biographer Angela Levin claims that these projects have been delayed and won’t be released until “next February at the earliest.”

Levin stated, “The documentary did phenomenally well, but nothing else has. Netflix isn’t keen on her cooking or Harry’s polo. It’s not original enough. So, I think they’re not going to renew the $100,000 to keep them going.”

The frustration from Netflix follows the couple’s attempts to “control the narrative” during their Colombia trip, allegedly by preventing audio recordings of certain discussions, such as Prince Harry being asked about apologizing for slavery. According to Levin, “They didn’t have any sound. I imagine Meghan wanted to keep control.”
This comes after the collapse of their Spotify deal, raising questions about how the couple will remain financially independent if Netflix also decides not to renew their contract. The Sussexes’ spokesperson has not yet commented on these claims.
