In a recent interview with BodySlam.net, TNA World Heavyweight Champion Moose shared his thoughts on the possibility of competing in the WWE Royal Rumble match, revealing his childhood dream of appearing on WWE television.
While discussing his aspirations for the future, Moose acknowledged the allure of the Royal Rumble, expressing his lifelong desire to be a part of WWE programming. However, he made it clear that his loyalty lies with TNA and that he is content with his current position in the company. Despite this, Moose didn’t dismiss the idea of answering the call if the opportunity were to arise.
“Obviously being in the Royal Rumble, just being on WWE television, is something I dreamed of as a kid,” Moose stated. “But as of right now, I’m loyal to TNA, I’m signed with TNA, I’m happy with TNA. But who knows, [Jordynne Grace] got the call to be in the Rumble, who knows, maybe next year I’ll get the call, or maybe somebody else in our locker room could get the ball, and all praise to them, whoever that person is.”
He went on to highlight the sense of pride within the TNA locker room when one of their own achieves such a milestone, emphasizing the camaraderie and support among the roster.
Moose’s comments come in the wake of fellow TNA stars, such as Jordynne Grace and Mickie James, making appearances in the Royal Rumble matches in previous years. Grace competed in the 2024 Royal Rumble as the reigning TNA Knockouts Champion, while James participated in the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble.
As Moose remains dedicated to TNA, fans can only speculate about the potential for him to grace the WWE stage in the future. Regardless of what lies ahead, Moose’s aspirations and unwavering loyalty underscore the tight-knit community within the TNA locker room.
