Before his tragic death, Diogo Jota experienced a “happy moment.”
The 28 -year -old jota, along with his brother Andre Silva, lost his life in a car accident when his car, a Lamborghini, left the street due to the burst of a tire when he exceeded another vehicle and caught fire.
Before the accident, the striker had spoken with Gondomar’s president when he was in the car to Zamora, Spain.
According to the reports, Álvaro Cerqueira, president of Gondomar SC, was one of the last people that Diogo Jota spoke before the tragedy: he had talked to the Liverpool star a few hours before his death.
“He had just spent last night, we talked on the phone and went well,” the club president, in which Jota began to grow and took his first steps to become a world player.

Cerqueira and Jota had regular conversations: “We talked almost every week and knew it had a lot of fun,” he added.
Although Jota played for Liverpool and André Silva in the last two seasons, the São Miguel stadium field was always available to the brothers.
When Diogo had to train since the season, he asked to come here, and we always make it available to all the necessary materials. His brother also came and both trained.
