5 MINUTES AGO: Former NFL receiver suggests the Bills should trade James Cook to the Browns for Myles Garrett.

In a shocking (and completely ridiculous) trade proposal, the former NFL player (who we won’t name for obvious reasons) suggested that the Buffalo Bills trade James Cook to the Cleveland Browns for Myles Garrett.

“This is a perfect deal for both teams,” the former player tweeted. “The Bills get a talented running back and the Browns get one of the best defensive players in the league.”

Of course, the proposal was met with ridicule and skepticism from fans and pundits alike.
“This is one of the worst ideas I’ve ever heard,” one Twitter user wrote. “Cook is a promising young player and Garrett is a defensive superstar. There’s no reason for the Bills to make this trade.”
“It seems like this ex-player forgot about Cook and Garrett,” another wrote. “Cook is a running back and Garrett is a defensive end. They don’t play the same position.”
“I guess this ex-player is trying to be famous on social media,” another wrote. “Well, he succeeded.”
It’s unclear at this point whether the Bills are considering a trade proposal. However, it seems highly unlikely.
And in a related development, the former player also announced that he is writing a book on how to run a professional football team. “It’s going to be called ‘The Art of the Deal,’” the former player tweeted. “And it’s coming out tomorrow.”
