During a flight from Miami to Los Angeles, boxing legend Mike Tyson encountered a medical emergency.

According to the New York Post, Tyson experienced dizziness and nausea on the flight from Miami to Los Angeles. A member of Tyson’s entourage stated: “He felt nauseous and dizzy 30 minutes before landing. He is very grateful that medical personnel were on hand to assist him.”

An eyewitness recounted: “He was seated in first class, while we were in the economy section. They asked us to stay on the plane and land so that medical personnel could come on board.

The flight attendant said things like, ‘He’s a really important passenger so we want to make sure he’s okay.’ I knew it was him, but I just whispered ‘Mike Tyson’ and she nodded.”

In just a few weeks, 57-year-old Mike Tyson is scheduled to have a “blockbuster” fight with Jake Paul, a competitor 30 years his junior.

The former world champion impressed with his speed and power during his competitive years, but in recent years, his health has faced numerous challenges. One of Tyson’s issues is sciatica, which has left him unable to speak or walk at times. He commented on his condition: “Occasionally I have sciatica, it flares up. When it happens, I can’t even talk! Thank God, that’s the only health issue I have. Now I’m in great shape.

According to a witness, when the plane landed, medical personnel hurried onto the plane to provide medical assistance to Tyson. Earlier, while the plane was still airborne, the flight crew had announced if there was a doctor on board to assist.
