The Los Angeles Chargers showed off their playful side on Wednesday, taking a “Sims” approach to mocking Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift in a simulated video game-like reveal of the offseason schedule 2024.
In a hilarious cartoon reminiscent of “The Sims,” the Chargers, who have struggled against the Chiefs since 2021, mocked the Kelce brothers’ “New Heights” podcast. The simulation features Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce engaging in a conversation about squirrels with former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce.
Travis Kelce, depicted surrounded by “Sims”-themed Swift album covers on his wall, eventually ditched the podcast to join Swift on a plane. This playful nod refers to the recent controversy surrounding accusations of the male singer using a private jet.
The Chiefs, who are set to take on the Chargers in weeks 4 and 14 of the regular season, used the release of their schedule to mock the Los Angeles team by crushing several phone chargers in the video their announcement.
