Joe Joyce will take on Derek Chisora in London this weekend as he aims to continue rebuilding his career. ‘The Juggernaut’ was comfortably beaten twice by Zhilei Zhang last year, losing his unbeaten professional record and his status as WBO mandatory.
However, Joyce bounced back with a win against Kash Ali last time out and he will be hoping to build some momentum with another victory. He takes on 40-year-old Chisora who comes into this fight off the back of a points win against Gerald Washington in August.
A third defeat for Joyce would completely end his world title dreams, while a 14th career loss for Del Boy will increase calls for him to retire. The pair have now weighed in for the bout Joyce tipped the scales at 281.2lbs (20st 1lb 3oz) while Chisora was 256.7lbs (18st 4lbs 11oz). That means there is almost two stone separating the heavyweights.

Joyce vs Chisora: What has been said?
Providing he beats ‘Del Boy’, Joyce has his sights set on world titles.
“I’ve progressed really quickly through the ranks and had very exciting fights,” he said. “I got there with the WBO ‘interim’ but the belts were tied up.
“The full title – that’s what I’m going for. But also I want to be in big fights that have a lot of excitement around them.”
“Joe is not going to win,” Chisora said at a news conference.
“He can train as much as he wants, but when it comes to the real grind of it, I’m more vicious than him.
“I fear no man. There’s no feeling each other out in the first round – I’m going in.”
Joyce’s promoter Frank Warren added: “This is a proper old-school heavyweight fight that seems to have been a long time in the making.
“I remember it being talked about strongly even before we teamed up with Joe and it has always struck me as a natural and obvious fight to make.
“Two top London heavies fighting it out for a place back at the top table promises to deliver a cracking scrap.
“The winner is right back in business, with no real place to go for the loser.”
