Late Queen Elizabeth II Found Donald Trump “Very Rude” During His Visit, New Book Reveals

Queen Elizabeth II, known for her diplomatic grace, reportedly found former US President Donald Trump “very rude” during his visit to the UK, a new book claims. The late monarch, who encountered many controversial leaders throughout her reign, allegedly voiced her displeasure with Trump’s behavior in a private conversation weeks after his visit.

In Craig Brown’s latest book, A Voyage Around The Queen, it is revealed that the Queen particularly disliked how Trump constantly looked over her shoulder as if searching for someone more interesting. This behavior left a lasting impression on the Queen, who confided in a guest at a lunch that she found the former president’s conduct disrespectful.

The book also touches on the Queen’s curiosity regarding the relationship between Trump and his wife, Melania. According to Brown, the Queen speculated that there might be “some sort of arrangement” between the couple, questioning why Melania would remain married to Trump otherwise.

These revelations stand in stark contrast to Trump’s own claims about his relationship with the Queen. During an interview with Fox News, Trump boasted about his “great relationship” with Her Majesty, insisting that she had a wonderful time during his visit. He even suggested that her aides had never seen the Queen so animated, claiming she hadn’t had that much fun in 25 years.

Trump first met Queen Elizabeth in 2018 during his tenure as the 45th President of the United States. His visit to London, classified as a “working visit” rather than a “state visit,” was marred by widespread protests, including the infamous Trump baby blimp. Despite the tension surrounding the trip, Trump repeatedly asserted that he and the Queen shared a special bond, a claim that now appears to be at odds with the Queen’s private sentiments.

The book further details how Trump’s visit included several breaches of royal protocol, such as walking ahead of the Queen during the inspection of the guard of honor and keeping the then 92-year-old monarch waiting in the heat for ten minutes. These incidents likely contributed to the Queen’s negative impression of the former president.

As Trump continues his campaign for the 2024 White House bid, these revelations about his past interactions with one of the world’s most respected figures may impact public perception, particularly as he faces ongoing scrutiny in the political arena.
