King Charles Has ‘two Massive Problems’ In His Bid To Evict Prince Andrew From Royal Lodge

King Charles III is currently facing significant obstacles in his efforts to evict Prince Andrew from Royal Lodge, a move that has sparked a royal feud showing no signs of resolution. According to royal commentator Lee Cohen, there are “two massive problems” that the King must contend with in this endeavor.

During a discussion on GB News with Nana Akua, Cohen outlined the difficulties King Charles is encountering. He pointed out that while the monarch is dealing with numerous issues within the family, the challenges posed by the Duke of York’s residence at Royal Lodge, alongside ongoing controversies surrounding the Sussexes, are particularly pressing.

Cohen stated, “Sadly, the King has two massive entitlement problems: the Sussexes and the Duke of York.” These issues have surfaced amid other concerns, including a rumored health crisis, making the situation even more complicated for King Charles.

Despite the challenges, Cohen praised King Charles for his tolerance and generosity toward his brother, Prince Andrew. “He has been generous to his brother, supporting him financially,” Cohen noted. He further explained that Prince Andrew does not necessarily require a larger house, especially given his current financial difficulties in maintaining the upkeep of Royal Lodge and covering its £3 million annual security costs.

To address these financial strains, a potential move to Frogmore Cottage has been suggested for Prince Andrew. This residence, previously occupied by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, could serve as a more manageable alternative for the Duke of York.

Cohen emphasized that King Charles’s decision is not about being harsh but rather about protecting the integrity of the monarchy. “It’s not mean to evict Prince Andrew. It protects the monarchy’s integrity and safeguards it from future damage,” Cohen argued. He stressed that the move would align privileges with responsibilities and establish a precedent for accountability within the royal family.

The possibility of withdrawing the private funding currently covering the estate’s security costs has also been considered by King Charles. Such a move would reinforce the notion that no royal family member, regardless of birthright, is beyond accountability.

As King Charles weighs his options, the outcome remains uncertain. However, the situation highlights the complexities of balancing family loyalty with the broader responsibilities of preserving the monarchy’s reputation and financial stability.
