King Charles Has £5.4million “Billionaire’s Row” Apartment With Swimming Pool And Gym Bought In His Name

King Charles is officially listed as the buyer of a stunning three-bedroom apartment on New York City’s exclusive Billionaire’s Row, priced at £5.4 million. This opulent residence includes a swimming pool, gym, and even a golf simulator. Despite the royal name on the deed, the actual owner is the Canadian government, with King Charles representing the Canadian Crown in this transaction.

The property, situated on West 57th Street in one of the world’s slimmest skyscrapers, is set to become the official residence of Canada’s consul general in New York. Although King Charles’ name is on the documents, the deal was executed by Robert McCubbing from the Canadian Consulate, adhering to diplomatic protocols.

Originally listed at £8.3 million, the apartment was purchased at a bargain price. The skyscraper, completed in 2021 by SHoP Architects, dominates the Manhattan skyline and boasts the title of the fourth-tallest building in the US. The penthouse in this building was recently sold for a staggering $53 million.

This luxurious addition to Canada’s property portfolio reflects the country’s ongoing investment in prestigious real estate.
