Jennifer Lopez quickly denied questions about rumors that her and Ben Affleck’s marriage is in trouble. It happened during Lopez’s appearance in Mexico to promote her new Netflix movie, Atlas, and the moment was posted on social media by Mexican entertainment news show El Gordo y La Flaca. Her response was to lean forward and look directly at the questioner and say, “You know better than that.”
Lopez certainly anticipated that question. She is a professional, and since Bennifer was born, the couple has fascinated the public.
The couple met on the set of the 2002 film Gigli, which did extremely poorly but brought them together. They became engaged later that year, but they called off their September 2003 wedding just days before the wedding was scheduled to take place, citing “excessive media attention”. They broke up in January 2004 and fans thought it would last until spring 2021, when they rekindled their relationship. Lopez and Affleck got engaged again in April 2022, and by July, the wedding actually took place.
This time, the two opened up about their love for each other in interviews and on social networks. So it was noticed that they hadn’t been photographed together for weeks before appearing together – wearing wedding gowns – at a May 16 event for their children. Despite this, People later reported that Lopez and Affleck were living in separate residences in Los Angeles and that Affleck was living in their other home in the area while filming The Account 2.
Although the actual film is sometimes overshadowed by the real-life drama, Atlas , debuting May 24 on Netflix, promises to be thrilling. Lopez plays a data analyst sent to capture a renegade robot who shares a mysterious past with her. But things don’t go as planned and she finds herself needing to trust AI, which isn’t easy for her, to save humanity. In addition to Lopez, the cast also includes Sterling K. Brown, Gregory James Cohan, Simu Liu, Abraham Popoola, Lana Parrilla and Mark Strong.
