Jennifer Lopez may have more money to spend as she was spotted in Beverly Hills in a simple yet gorgeous all-white outfit. The 54-year-old multi-talented man appeared to be inspecting new mega-mansions in the posh neighboring city of Los Angeles on a mildly sunny day. Her cool look included an oversized sweater that sometimes slid off one shoulder, white pants, and giant hoop earrings.
She wore sunglasses and tucked her hair behind her ears as she walked out of one of the luxury homes.
Another woman dressed in black pulled her down the steps of the grand entrance. It’s been just a year since JLo and Ben Affleck, 51, bought the $60.85 million, 46,000-square-foot house they now live in. The deal took just a week to complete and the couple paid nearly $15 million over the asking price of $75 million. It first hit the market in 2018 for $135 million but that price was nearly halved when it was relisted this year. The house – known as the ‘Wallingford estate’ – sits on a five-acre site and has 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms. The listing reveals that it is ‘newly rebuilt and expanded’ and has a 12-car garage and parking for 80 cars.
There is also a ‘one-of-a-kind’ indoor sports complex, a 5,000 square meter guest penthouse, a caretaker’s house and a two-bedroom guard house on site. With indoor sports facilities, Jennifer has a full gym available as well as basketball and handball courts and boxing rings. The couple was also spotted house hunting in New York City last month. The Let’s Get Loud singer and Argo star looked at three properties in the Big Apple, specifically on the Upper East Side.
Jennifer and Ben viewed a townhouse at 226 E. 68th Street for rent for $45,000 per month, according to Gimme Shelter (according to the New York Post). They also looked at a relatively small (compared to their current home in Beverly Hills), 3,024 square foot home about a block away at 342 E. 69th Street, on the market for 5. 95 million USD. Jennifer currently has a penthouse at the Whitman building in Nomad on the market for $24.99 million. According to this newspaper, she bought it in 2014 for $20.2 million.
