Jake Paul has mocked Mike Tyson’s famous face tattoo by mimicking him on social media.
It comes as he shows off his physique while wishing female boxer Amanda Serrano a happy birthday on Wednesday.
The YouTube star, who has turned to boxing, will face his biggest opponent yet when he takes on Tyson on November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Many have criticised the fight, which will break the record for the biggest age gap between two opponents, due to Tyson’s age at 58 and Paul’s age at 27.
Nevertheless, the bout is going ahead with Netflix holding exclusive broadcast rights, the first of its kind for the streaming platform.
And it does not take much for Paul to try rile up his opponents, even if they were once called The Baddest Man On The Planet.
One of Tyson’s most prominent features is his facial tattoo, a large tribal pattern across the right side of his face.
Iron Mike got the tattoo in 2003 shortly before he was set to face Clifford Etienne, which would become his 50th – and final – win.
In 2012, Tyson explained his reasoning why: “I just thought it was a cool tattoo. I was going to get a bunch of hearts and stuff. That would have been really stupid.”
But Paul has taken to social media to mock the former heavyweight champion by mimicking him in his profile picture on X.
In it, the Ohio-born star has copied Tyson’s famous tattoo on his own face, though did admit that it was a fake.
“Definitely fake, but this one hell of a promo video,” he said.
In his latest post on X, Paul wished Serrano a happy birthday – a fighter he has grown close to since putting on the gloves.
The 35-year-old is one of the best female boxers of all time and is the only woman to have won world titles in more than four weight classes.
She also holds the Guinness World Record for the most boxing world championships won in different weight-classes by a female, having held 9 major world titles across seven different weight classes.
It was her birthday on Wednesday and Paul posted a video of Serrano pummelling him in the stomach as he tensed and showed off his physique.
The caption read: “The greatest ever. The most dedicated ever. The nicest killer ever. The highest paid ever.
“Happy birthday Amanda Serrano. You are the definition of working hard to achieve your goals.”
Paul is the slight favourite going into his fight against Tyson, despite the fact he has only ever faced one boxer before in Tommy Fury and lost.
Nevertheless, legendary boxing promoter Bob Arum has insisted that Iron Mike has no chance when he steps into the ring.
“A 58 year old guy, no matter how good they were, no matter how athletic they were, are not gonna be able to fight,” he said.
“You can’t throw punches like you’re supposed to, you can’t do a lot of things.
“I hope Mike doesn’t get hurt, but I really give him relatively no chance.”
