Jake Paul is desperate to make his MMA debut, ready to k_ill his opponents to earn a spot at UFC 303

Jake Paul is desperate to debut in MMA, threatens a rival to get a place in UFC 303: “I would 100% kill you”.

Jake Paul continues making enemies left and right. Whether it’s Mike Tyson, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, or Ryan Garcia, the influencer-turned-boxer spends his time looking for fights inside and outside the ring with anyone who gets within his reach. This time, it’s MMA champion Sean O’Malley.

The rescheduling of his fight against Tyson left the “Problem Child” with plenty of time on his hands. The former heavyweight champion’s health problems forced the highly publicized fight to be postponed from July 20 to November 20.

Apparently, Paul does not want to waste the arduous preparation he did for the fight against “Iron Mike” and now wants to take advantage of that space in his schedule to make his long-awaited debut in the UFC. As usual, Paul wants to make his debut against one of the brand’s most notorious figures, champion Sean O’Malley.

Jake Paul’s threats

Paul has never been known for his moderation. This time, the controversial boxer took to his account on X, formerly Twitter, to provoke the UFC star. “100% will kill O’Malley in MMA.”

The YouTuber also referenced the weight difference between the two by saying, “He’s a small man.” It should be noted that O’Malley fights at bantamweight, while Paul was preparing for a heavyweight contest.

Despite this, Paul is eager to face O’Malley and has even proposed a date for the fight, “PFL vs UFC June 29th.” That is, he wants the fight to take place during UFC 303.

O’Malley’s response

Sean O’Malley did not remain silent in the face of the challenge and immediately responded on social media. “I’ll fight @jakepaul to save UFC 303,” he assured, alluding to the problems that Dana White’s promotion has had in securing the main fight for this card.

Despite this and the fact that Paul responded to O’Malley’s message saying, “MMA fight before Tyson,” it is highly unlikely that this fight will take place. In principle, the “Problem Child” signed a contract with the UFC’s rival promotion, PFL, and it is difficult for them to allow Paul to fight in an event of their top competitor.

Secondly, there is the weight difference. As bantamweight champion, O’Malley must weigh between 126-135 lbs for each fight. Paul, for his part, went up to over 200 lbs for the fight against Tyson. It is almost impossible for either of them to reach the weight of the other in such a short time.
