Jake Paul Dismissed as ‘Useless’ and Told He ‘Cannot Fight’ in Fiery Lead-Up to Mike Tyson Clash

Carl Froch has bluntly claimed that Jake Paul “cannot fight” and has labeled him “useless” ahead of Paul’s highly anticipated bout with Mike Tyson. The fight, scheduled to take place at the AT&T Stadium in Texas on July 20, has generated significant controversy among boxing fans.

The showdown, featuring a 30-year age gap between the 57-year-old Tyson and 27-year-old Paul, has raised concerns about Tyson’s safety. Many fans are worried that the legendary boxer could sustain a serious injury due to his age.

Despite these concerns, Froch believes the fight will be orchestrated to ensure neither man gets hurt. Speaking to Lord Ping, Froch didn’t hold back in his assessment of Paul’s boxing abilities. “I’m not worried about Mike Tyson; Jake Paul cannot fight,” he said. “None of his knockouts are legitimate. His knockouts were against opponents who didn’t know what they were doing. He’s f*****g useless; his technique, style, balance, offense, defense, the way he sets up his punches – he cannot fight.”

Deontay Wilder has also expressed concerns, fearing Tyson could end up in a coma. Wilder told Sportsbook Review, “I think it’s bad the commission has licensed Mike Tyson because he hasn’t been active in 20 years. They should not just license him because of who he is; that’s how people get hurt. God forbid he gets hurt.”

However, Froch dismissed Wilder’s fears as exaggerated, suggesting the fight will be scripted to avoid any serious harm. “I think Wilder saying Mike is at risk of a coma is over-exaggerated. Wilder is getting carried away and giving Jake more credit than he’s worth,” Froch added. “I even give Mike a chance of winning, but Jake’s youth will defeat father time. I think there will be a script as part of the contract. This is a fix. Mike will be taking his time like he did against Roy Jones, not trying to hit or hurt Jake.”

As the fight date approaches, Tyson appears to be in great shape, impressing fans with his speed and agility during training sessions. Despite his physical readiness, Tyson has admitted to being “scared to death” about returning to the ring. Speaking to Fox News, he said, “I have a weird personality – I don’t think it’s weird though. Whatever I’m afraid to do, I do it. That’s how it is. Right now, I’m scared to death.”

The upcoming bout between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul continues to stir debate, with opinions divided on the legitimacy and safety of the fight. Fans eagerly await to see how the match unfolds and whether Tyson can defy the odds against his much younger opponent.
