Jake Paul is keen to stay active after his bout with Mike Tyson was rescheduled.

The pair were set to meet each other on July 20, however, their controversial professional boxing bout has been pushed back to November 15 after Tyson was deemed medically unfit to compete on the initially proposed date.

‘Iron Mike’ suffered an ulcer flare-up on a flight to Los Angeles that left him nauseous, dizzy and requiring medical attention.

While his PR insisted he had made a full recovery, further checks by doctors confirmed Tyson would need more time to recover.

In the interim period, Paul wants to stay busy and is open to the idea of making his long-awaited MMA debut in June.

UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley recently called for a fight with Paul to ‘save’ the upcoming UFC 303 card as speculation mounts over whether Conor McGregor will pull out of his main event with Michael Chandler.

“I’ll fight Jake Paul to save UFC 303,” tweeted O’Malley.

To which, Paul responded: “100 per cent will kill Omalley in MMA. He’s a small man. PFL Vs UFC June 29th.”

Paul signed with PFL last year and is expected to make his MMA debut in the not-so-distant future.

There has also been no indication that the UFC would want to work with their nearest competitors in the Western market (PFL), while there is still no official confirmation on the status of McGregor vs Chandler.

Esteemed MMA journalist Ariel Helwani recently reported that the fight is ‘very much in limbo’ and that the UFC is currently exploring back-up plans.

It seems unlikely it will be against O’Malley as Paul is currently walking around at 220lbs while ‘Suga’ competes at 135lbs.
