Actress Olivia Munn continues to share her journey since being diagnosed with breast cancer last year, revealing in a recent interview with Vogue that she underwent a hysterectomy as part of her treatment.

In the candid interview published Sunday, the “Newsroom” actress disclosed that she recently had her uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries removed. Munn explained that the procedure, which took place last month, was prompted by the debilitating exhaustion she experienced from cancer treatment medication.

Opting for the hysterectomy was a significant decision for Munn, but one she felt was necessary to be present for her family. While the procedure improves her quality of life, it also means she won’t be able to carry any future children. Munn and comedian John Mulaney welcomed their son, Malcom, in 2021.
