The 2025 Oscar award ceremony took place on February 23 at Dolby Theatre, but the biggest drama was not on the stage but behind the scenes, when Kevin Costner, the star of “Yellowstone” and “Dances With Wolves”, refused to master with Whopi Goldberg. The incident occurred just before an important price, which made the organizers rush to change the script. Later, Costner explained his actions with a brief but weight declaration: “Evil people are not worthy here,” triggered a series of speculation on the conflict between the two big names in Hollywood.

According to those present at the event, Costner was originally organized to give dedication to the career with Goldberg, who was the familiar MC of the Oscars. But a few minutes before the broadcast, he suddenly left the preparation zone, informing the producers that there would not be on stage with her. A source behind the scenes revealed that Costner expressed dissatisfaction with Goldberg before, concerning his comments on “The View” on politics and culture – subjects that Costner often remained far from the public.
