Wimbledon 2025 has become the scene of a historic moment that is making headlines around the world. During the highly anticipated match between  Jannik Sinner  and  Grigor Dimitrov , the Italian champion made an unexpected gesture that left the  stadium in complete silence . It was an action that many described as a true  violation of the tournament rules , so much so that it even risked being expelled from the court.

Wimbledon has not yet released an official statement on the incident, but sources close to the tournament say any sanction would be highly unpopular. For many, Sinner not only respected the true spirit of the sport, but also elevated  the tournament itself to a higher human and moral level .
