Gervonta Davis defeated by Frank Martin, purse and payouts Money Will ‘Tank’ lose to His Opponent

On June 15, undefeated upstart Frank Martin (18-0, 12 KOs) will take on undefeated three-division world champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis (29-0, 27 KOs). One boxer will lose for the first time. This fight promises to be exciting as it pits an established star against a rising talent hoping to unseat him.

The 29-year-old Davis, a protégé of Floyd Mayweather, did not compete until April 2023. In his most recent bout, which took place in July of last year, Martin defeated Artem Harutyunyan via a 12-round decision. Martin will be defending his WBA lightweight title against him.

According to Sporty Salaries, $2 million is guaranteed for Gervonta Davis in the bout with Frank Martin. Frank Martin, the opponent, might get up to $500k, which would be the biggest payday of his career.


On fight day, if the bout between Frank Martin and Gervonta Davis surpasses the 800k pay-per-view sales mark, Gervonta Davis will potentially earn a maximum of $10 million. In comparison, Frank Martin may earn a maximum of $1.5 million.
