Fury raises concerns after being escorted from bar, breaking silence on retirement fears and Oleksandr Usyk’s rematch

Tyson Fury calms concerns about retirement and rematch with Oleksandr Usyk after being spotted leaving a bar

After the incident of being taken out of a bar by security last weekend, Tyson Fury quickly allayed concerns about his early retirement. The former heavyweight world champion has reassured fans that he remains fully committed for his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk scheduled for December.

Fury sparked concern when a video showed him being taken outside a bar by security and falling to the ground, leaving many worried about his health after his defeat to Usyk last month. There are doubts about his readiness for the rematch.

However, Fury spoke up to reassure fans: “Listen! I have conquered everything in boxing from titles to records. But I’ve never had to come back from a loss,” Fury said in one of his training videos. “On December 21 in Riyadh, I will reclaim my throne and become undisputed champion .”

He also added, “Oleksandr Usyk, I come for you! Prepare for ‘Gypsy King’! The path to redemption is mine. I know what I need to do and I have realized my shortcomings. Please believe that I cannot avoid it.”

The first fight with Usyk in Saudi Arabia was a lively affair as Fury dominated the first half of the fight before Usyk turned the tide. Immediately after the fight, Fury activated the rematch clause in his contract, with the rematch being moved from October to December 21, back in the Middle East.

Doubts as to whether the rematch will include all four championship belts still exist as the IBF has not yet decided whether Usyk will be stripped of his belt for not fighting mandatory challenger Filip Hrgovic, who was later defeated by Daniel Dubois defeat.
