Stepping down?
Bongino’s lengthy post on X comes after rumors that the deputy FBI head was weighing his options as to whether or not he wanted to quit his job.
Sources within the agency told Axios that Bongino and Attorney General Pam Bondi have reportedly clashed several times over the handling of the files.
Bondi has not publicly addressed the dispute with Bongino. She said earlier this month she has no plans to step down as Attorney General. She said: “I’m going to be here for as long as the president wants me here.”
