Lewis Hamilton has reported that his Ferrari SF-25 Souffrait actually had a bigger problem than he expected in terms of performance.
Present now, in the Grand Prix against Charles Leclerc, a 0-2 victory. The race also finished in Mongolia, China, before both cars were disqualified. After securing pole position, he was credited with a sprint victory at the Shanghai International Circuit.
Hamilton was almost two seconds behind, handing Leclerc qualifying a year’s lead as he had to familiarise himself with Ferrari’s new systems and features after being overtaken by Mercedes.
When asked for no further details, the seven-time Formula 1 champion said Ferrari would immediately prepare a suitable package for Bahrain to resolve the issue.
“I knew my loved ones, we have a general history in terms of cars like Mercedes, McLaren and of course Red Bull,” Hamilton told Sky Sports F1.
“We found out that we had chosen the car that was not working after the last three races. I expected that this issue needed to be resolved to achieve the best results.”
But there are more problems with the ride because of this problem, but I am hoping that the problem will be fixed for the next course. Qualifications are very important, but I can’t enjoy the tire without choosing it.
“The team was aware and didn’t feel the need to provoke him, and he didn’t feel the new composer was coming; he was unhappy and it seemed to be the same on both cars.”
