An explosion of adrenaline shakes the world of Formula 1! Ferrari has finally unveiled its new weapon for 2025, the SF-25, a single-seater that promises to redefine the balance on the track and bring Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc to fight for the world title. Presented in grand style during the F1 75 Live event in London, this “beast” from Maranello is much more than an evolution: it is a revolution on four wheels.

The SF-25 stands out for its bold and innovative design. Farewell to the traditional push-rod front suspension: Ferrari embraces the pull-rod, like Red Bull and McLaren, to optimize aerodynamics and improve tire management, an Achilles heel of the past. The sidepods, more streamlined and extreme, are set back by about ten centimeters, creating a ramp to direct airflow toward the rear. The floor, an evolution of the one tested in Qatar, maximizes aerodynamic load, while front and rear wings, made with elastic materials, exploit flexion at high speeds without violating the regulations.

But it’s not just a question of technique. The SF-25 sports a breathtaking livery: a darker, more intense red, far from the classic Rosso Corsa, enhanced by a prominent white stripe and Giallo Modena details. This rebranding reflects Ferrari’s ambition to combine tradition and modernity, with Hamilton as the global face of the project. The seven-time world champion, making his debut with the Reds, has already made the fans fall in love: his first lap at Fiorano attracted hundreds of enthusiasts, an enthusiasm reminiscent of the days of Schumacher.

Under the guidance of technical director Loic Serra, formerly of Mercedes, the single-seater has been 99% redesigned, according to team principal Fred Vasseur. The rearward cockpit and shorter gearbox allow for optimal distribution of components, improving internal fluid dynamics and cooling. Every detail has been taken care of to find those thousandths of a second that make the difference in F1.
The challenge is titanic: beat Max Verstappen and Red Bull, recent dominators, and counter a McLaren on the rise. But with Hamilton and Leclerc, an explosive duo of talent and hunger for victory, Ferrari has all the cards in order. The British driver is chasing his eighth title, the Monegasque his first, and the internal rivalry promises sparks. The tests in Bahrain, from February 26 to 28, will be the first test for this war machine.
The 2025 season is shaping up to be an epic one, and Ferrari is ready to roar. With the SF-25, Maranello isn’t just aiming to win: it’s aiming to dominate. Get ready, because the Prancing Horse is back, and this time it’s taking no prisoners.
