Errol Spence made a mockery when asked about the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight, “He is too old, man”

Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are set to battle it out on November 15 in a contest that has got many people talking.

YouTuber turned boxer Paul was originally slated to fight long-retired former heavyweight legend ‘Iron Mike’ – who turns 58 in late June – at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on July 20 in an event to be live streamed on Netflix. However, Tyson was forced to delay the fight after an ulcer flare-up.

Rather than waiting around, Paul who has lost just once to Tommy Fury and has nine wins on his record, is staying busy and taking on undefeated Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship man “Platinum” Mike Perry on DAZN Pay Per View.

Should he come through that, the Tyson fight will be fought over eight, two-minute rounds. knockouts will be allowed and it will be the first time Tyson has been in the ring since he fought to a draw in an exhibition with Roy Jones Jr in November 2020. That fight came 15 years after his last professional contest but that hasn’t stopped him saying he would like to fight Anthony Joshua.

Speaking to ESNews, former welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr was asked who he thinks will come out on top and went with the younger man.

“Jake Paul. Mike is old. He’s 60 right?”

Spence hasn’t fought since a knockout loss to Terence Crawford last July ended his hopes of becoming the undisputed welterweight ruler.

Although he has a contracted rematch, it looks as though he will move on and is expected to return to the ring against WBC light-middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora in October.
