Tesla and SpaceX founder Elop Musk has completed his $790 million acquisition of media company ABC.
This agreement immediately caused a stir in the media and fans around the world.
However, not only because of the huge amount that Moscow spent on the acquisition, but also because of the unexpected event that followed.
Immediately after the agreement was signed, Moscow decided to cancel “The View,” a popular US talk show where the hosts discuss hip, current affairs topics.
MŅsk’s decision is directly related to the incident on the show, when one of the guests, Alec Baldwin, called MŅsk “garbage” on live television.
Although Baldwin later apologized for his comments, Musk did not change his mind about finalizing the show. Many people believe Musk’s decision reflects the strong and determined personality of the famous investor and entrepreneur, while others believe it is just an overreaction to his spontaneous statement.
Despite the criticism, many in the media industry also predict that with Msk’s influence and ability to generate attention, this is just one of his strategic moves to build and consolidate his own media empire.
Will this decision have a significant impact on MŅsk’s career, or will there be more drastic changes in the future? Time will tell.
