DRAKE MENTIONS TAYLOR SWIFT AND KANYE WEST IN NEW SONG ‘RED BUTTON’

Drake, the Canadian rapper, surprised fans with the release of “For All the Dogs Scary Hours Edition,” an extended version of his recent album, “For All the Dogs.” The new edition, titled “Scary Hours 3,” features six additional tracks.

In one of the songs titled “Red Button,” Drake gives unexpected shoutouts to two famously opposed artists, Taylor Swift and Kanye West. He praises Swift as the only artist he views as an equal, referencing her success in the music industry. Later in the track, he mentions West, alluding to their historical disagreements.

The feud between West and Swift dates back to the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, where West famously interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech. Meanwhile, Drake’s on-and-off feud with West has been a recurring theme in their careers.

Drake’s recent release also caught attention for its positive portrayal of women, a departure from the negative references in his previous album. Music editor Roisin O’Connor described it as a rare instance of Drake showing love and admiration for the women in his life. While the release received praise for its more balanced approach, it also reignited speculation about Drake’s relationship with West. Despite Drake’s father’s attempts to clarify that the song was not intended as a swipe at West, fans continue to speculate about the underlying dynamics between the two artists.

Overall, “Scary Hours 3” presents a mix of surprises and reflections on Drake’s relationships with fellow artists, offering fans a deeper glimpse into his thoughts and experiences.
